Analysis of Writing Programs and Students’ Errors to Increase the Students’ Writing Skill

This study presents the analysis of writing programs which can increase students’ skill by concerning errors. The method used qualitative and quantitative analyses. participants involved in this were 30 students third level majoring analytical chemistry department Politeknik AKA Bogor, academic year 2021/2022. Researcher wanted to know area errors each program. result shows that average grade got program teaching reading vocabulary was 68.75% with 31.25% error identifying words: analysis, analyze, analytical, analyst, prepare, preparation, determine, determination, require, statistically. In grammar structure, score 70% bigger than first Meanwhile 30% using past tense, present perfect modal auxiliary, passive voice, relative clause, participle. next program, analyzing sentences from textbook, had difficulty main clauses, participles a sentence. obtained 71.25% for 28.75% error. simple complex sentences, 77.5% 22.5% making consisting clauses applying as verb Finally, after having 4 stated above, practice report, 80% meaning excellent, 20% interpreting data developing idea. research finds programs: vocabulary, practical report are skill. To make decision needs have more attention, it be determined
